French Club Event: The Pacific World through French Eyes, 1660-2018

Discover an array of Francophone works in the Pacific Collection at the University of Hawaiʻi, Mānoa! These books, atlases, journals, magazines, and even graphic novels, reflect perceptions of the Pacific world by indigenous authors writing in French as well as French voyagers and tourists.

Advanced knowledge of French is not necessary. This is an amazing opportunity to come experience rare, primary sources first-hand!

Join Hanna Roman (French Section, LLEA) and Stu Dawrs (Pacific Collection, Hamilton Library)

on Friday, 16 March 2018, 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
